Festival to bring out the dragon in Port Talbot

The Met Office is forecasting sunshine for the cultural festival of food and entertainment set to take over Station Road, Forge Road and Aberafan Shopping Centre tomorrow. The Senses of the Dragon Festival will be NSA Afan’s second Big Lottery funded event and will include family friendly entertainment, food stalls, local craft and vintage stalls and a fun fair. Local shops are also getting in on the action, and any shops displaying the Port Talbot Pound logo in their windows will be running special offers for the day. The first event – the Christmas Village – suffered from a low turnout due to bad weather.
