UNEXPLAINED mysteries was the subject of a riveting yet humorous talk by author and television presenter, the Rev Lionel Fanthorpe, at Port Talbot library on Friday (May 18).
Accompanied by his wife and co-author and co-researcher, Patricia, the Rev Fanthorpe’s talk was part of Adult Learners Week.
Introduced by Leah Hayes, of library services, he spoke of the various classifications of ghosts and visions, as well as his research into famous and not so famous mysteries – including the truth behind the DaVinci Code.
With more than 250 books to his name, the Rev Fanthorpe is president of the Association for the Scientific Study of Anomalous Phenomena.
This week sees the culmination of the lectures with Tess Phillips reliving the war years, plus pictures of old Aberavon on Wednesday, and a talk on the Borgia family by Sally Jones on Thursday.
