Pitch-in! is a new way to help us develop Port Talbot MagNet. You can donate money to our development fund, sponsor new sections, help us pay reporters, suggest stories, carry out fundraising on our behalf, volunteer your time or advertise with us. 
In return, you get something too – publicity for a story, exposure for your business, training or experience, or the opportunity to foster news in Port Talbot because it’s something you believe in. If you do nothing else, please just tell people about us – increasing our visitor numbers is also important to securing our future.
We are a social enterprise and a co-operative, so any and all profits go back into developing the news service. All our directors are professional journalists, who are currently volunteering their time to the project. We believe good journalism is essential to democracy, and we’re on a mission to ensure it is accessible to all. Please get involved and help us achieve our aims.
We have set a number of fundraising targets. These are things we need to help us sustain and improve Port Talbot MagNet – everything from premises and insurance to a new Sports Results service and a regular report from the courts.
